Amber Heard's facial features are deemed almost perfect by scientific standards, according to a new report. Amid her high-profile defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp, a UK-based cosmetic surgeon conducted a study using digital facial-mapping technology, finding that Heard's face was 91.85% close to perfect based on the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty.
Dr Julian De Silva, the cosmetic surgeon, used the Golden Ratio, also known as 'Phi,' which represents the ideal proportion of facial features. Analyzing 12 points on Heard's face from a 2016 red carpet image, he measured the distance between her eyes, nose, lips, chin, and overall head to arrive at the nearly 92% score.
Dr Julian explained, “The Greeks discovered that the ratio occurs everywhere in nature and for thousands of years it has been thought to hold the secret formula of the world’s most beautiful faces.” He used the same techniques to determine that Kim Kardashian had the best eyebrows, Scarlett Johansson had the best eyes, and Emily Ratajkowski had the most perfect lips. For men, Robert Pattinson was declared the most good-looking with a score of 92.15%.
Amidst legal battles, Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for $50 million, alleging defamation, while she counter-sued for $100 million. The jury awarded Heard $2 million in compensatory damages and asked her to pay Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, later capped at $3.5 million. Heard now owes $8.35 million to Depp.
