Exclusive photographs, purportedly revealing a secret pregnancy of film icon Marilyn Monroe, have been unveiled for the first time. The images, sold as original color slides in a Hollywood auction last year, belonged to Monroe's confidante Frieda Hull. The pictures, taken in 1960, show Monroe with a noticeable belly bump, leading Hull to claim that the star was in the early stages of pregnancy.
Contrary to popular belief, Hull asserted that the father was not Monroe's husband, Arthur Miller, but Italian-French actor Yves Montand, with whom she had a public affair.
The images were taken on July 8, 1960, outside Fox Studios in New York, following Monroe's costume and hair tests for the film "The Misfits." Tony Michaels, who purchased the color slides at the auction, reveals that Hull had confided in him about Monroe's secret pregnancy, insisting that the slides provide genuine evidence.
According to Tony, Monroe kept the pregnancy hidden from the world and tragically lost the baby during a hospital visit.
Monroe, who faced challenges conceiving due to endometriosis, had suffered three previous miscarriages. The exclusive pictures add a new layer to the complex and private life of the iconic actress, suggesting a hidden chapter in her Hollywood tale.
