According to royal editor Sarah Hewson, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem to be facing challenges in the realm of celebrity connections.
Explaining the notable absence of the Duchess of Sussex at Oprah's exclusive gathering of influential women globally, Hewson shared insights with Sky News. "It was thought that they had a big cohort of celebrities supporting around them."
Addressing Oprah's event, she continued, "It might have been expected that the Duchess of Sussex, at least, would have been invited alongside these influential women in the entertainment industry. She [Meghan] wasn't there, and that has raised questions."
Hewson speculated on the potential perception of the royal couple, stating, "Whether this pair is seen as too toxic, too negative to be associated with, in the public eye at least."
Concluding her thoughts, she remarked, "Perhaps behind closed doors, celebrities are still waiting to associate themselves with them." The observations hint at the challenges Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might be encountering in maintaining their celebrity connections.
