In an interview with Glamour, Vergara shared her motivation behind launching Toty, her own sun care line. For over three decades, she sought a sunscreen that wouldn't leave white casts on darker skin tones. After discovering a suitable product during her trips to Spain, she collaborated with cosmetic labs to bring Toty to the US, addressing a gap in the market.
Vergara emphasized the realistic expectations of Toty products, noting that they won't make users look 20 years younger like plastic surgery. She humorously dismissed plastic surgery accusations in her comments, attributing any perceived changes to the natural aging process.
