Joe Alwyn, actor and boyfriend of Taylor Swift, recently discussed his steamy love scenes in the upcoming TV show "Conversations With Friends." Alwyn assured fans that Swift has no issue with him being intimate on screen in the Hulu series.
In an interview with Extra, Alwyn mentioned that Swift has read the book on which the show is based and is a big fan of the project. Alwyn and co-star Alison Oliver also talked about working with an intimacy coordinator to make the intimate scenes more comfortable.
Oliver explained that intimacy coordinators provide garments like skin-colored knickers and pads to create distance between actors, treating intimate scenes like stunts to create an illusion. She mentioned that Swift was "totally cool" about the project and recognized it as part of the job.
Alwyn and Swift have been dating since 2016, and they collaborated on Swift's quarantine albums "folklore" and "evermore." While engagement rumors have circulated, Alwyn has not given a definitive answer about their plans to tie the knot.
"Conversations With Friends" is set to debut on May 15, and Alwyn described it as a modern love story with intimate scenes adding depth to the characters' relationship.
