Harvey Weinstein Scandal Allegations and Accusations

Currently facing five charges related to two women in New York, Harvey Weinstein has acknowledged that his actions have caused significant pain. However, he vehemently denies many of the allegations against him, with his spokesperson stating that any claims of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied, and there have been no acts of retaliation against those who rejected him.

One accuser, an actress, alleges that Weinstein raped her through oral sex at the Sundance Film Festival in 1997 when she was 23. After appearing in Scream, she reached a $100,000 settlement with him and declined a $1 million offer for a further non-disclosure agreement, becoming one of his most vocal accusers.

A former Sopranos actress, Emmy-nominated, accuses Weinstein of forcing himself into her New York apartment in 1992 and raping her. She expressed shame over the incident, recalling her internal struggle.

Another actress reveals that Weinstein invited her to his hotel room under the pretext of a business meeting, only to appear in a bathrobe and suggest a massage or a shower-watching session. Refusing his advances, she claims he sought revenge by damaging her career. Director Peter Jackson confirmed removing her from a casting list based on what he now believes was false information from Weinstein.

In 2018, an actress sued Weinstein, alleging career damage in retaliation for rejecting his advances, but the Los Angeles court dismissed her sexual harassment suit.

The Mighty Aphrodite star recounts harassment in a hotel room in 1995, describing uncomfortable physical advances.

The Frida actress turned down repeated sexual advances during the 2002 film Frida, stating that Weinstein used threats, including a chilling declaration: "I will kill you, don't think I can't."
