Legal Battle Unveiled Former Massage Therapist Sues Harvey Weinstein and MSG Executive James Dolan for Sexual Assault

Legal Battle Unveiled Former Massage Therapist Sues Harvey Weinstein and MSG Executive James Dolan for Sexual Assault

In a legal action that unfolded on Wednesday, former massage therapist Kellye Croft lodged a lawsuit against disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein and MSG Entertainment CEO James Dolan. The lawsuit, filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, delves into the alleged instances of sex trafficking and sexual assault that Croft endured in 2013 and 2014.

Expressing the profound impact of the incidents on her life, Croft stated, "I have suffered so profoundly because of what James Dolan and Harvey Weinstein did to me years ago, and it was not an easy decision to come forward and seek justice. But for me, to truly address my trauma, I need to seek accountability."

Detailing the events, Croft added, "James Dolan manipulated me, brought me to California to abuse me, and then set me up for a vicious attack by Weinstein."

James Dolan, who serves as the chairman at Madison Square Garden in New York City and oversees entertainment performances at renowned venues such as Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theatre, and more, is a figurehead implicated in the lawsuit. Meanwhile, Harvey Weinstein, already serving a substantial prison term on convictions in New York and Los Angeles, faces further legal challenges.

Croft emphasized, "My hope is that my lawsuit will force Dolan to acknowledge what he did to me and to take responsibility for the harm he has caused."

The lawsuit narrates that Croft, hired as a massage therapist for The Eagles during their 2013 tour, crossed paths with Dolan, who, at the time, was 58 years old, while she was 27. The alleged misconduct unfolded during a massage session, where Dolan purportedly pressured Croft into unwanted sexual intercourse.

In response to the allegations, Dolan's attorney, E. Danya Perry, asserted, "There is absolutely no merit to any of the allegations against Mr. Dolan. Kellye Croft and James Dolan had a friendship. The references to Harvey Weinstein are simply meant to inflame and appear to be plagiarized from prior cases against Mr. Weinstein." Perry emphasized that the matter is not a mere he said/she said situation and asserted that compelling evidence supports Dolan's position.

The lawsuit contends that Dolan persisted in booking Croft for the remainder of the tour, making unwelcome advances and allegedly obligating her to submit to further unwanted encounters. The legal proceedings are poised to unfold, providing a platform for Croft's quest for justice and accountability.
